Double Ring Soil Infiltrometer

Double Ring Soil Infiltrometer

Double Ring Soil Infiltrometer is an instrument used for determining the infiltration rate of the water in soil. Double Ring Soil Infilltrometer makes use of Darcys law for measuring the infiltration rate and known for providing precise results. The measurement takes place in the inner ring through which the water runs vertically. Double Ring Soil Infiltrometer consists of two rings driving plate, for inner and outer rings. It consists of two steel rings with different diameters, a hammer, floats, a stainless steel hammering cross, and a stopwatch. The outer ring (ID = 45 cm); the inner ring (ID = 30 cm).
